March 5th Election Information

Presidential Preference Primary and the
Loudon County Republican and Democrat Primary. Being a primary election,
when you go to vote, you must declare which primary you want to vote in.
Both county contested elections on the March ballot are on the Republican Primary, 5th District County Commission, seat (A) race and 3rd District School Board race. 5th district incumbent commissioner, Joe Morrison (R), is being challenged by Marty Fugate (R). In the 3rd district Loudon County School Board race, incumbent, Phil Moffit, decided not to run for re-election leaving the seat open. Two candidates are seeking to fill that seat. Andrew Disney (R) and Greg Everett (R). Andrew Disney is a Loudon City fireman. Greg Everett is a former Marine and an optometrist. I will continue to update this page with additional information.
