Joe Morrison
My name is Joe Morrison,
I have lived in the Eaton’s Crossroads
community for over 50 years. I was appointed by the
County Commission to fill the unexpired term of the late
Commissioner Harold Duff until the next county general
election in 2024. I am running for Loudon County
Commissioner, District 5, Seat A on March 5, 2024, and I
would greatly appreciate your vote. I am a common-sense
conservative Republican and would be grateful for the
opportunity to continue the fight against the
imprudent over development in our district and the
county, as well as any unconstitutional maneuvers that
would adversely affect the freedom, health, welfare, or
well-being of our neighbors.
I have been employed at Covenant Health
for over 27 years in the IT Department and Treasurer at
Good Shepherd UMC for the past 13 years. I have a
bachelor’s degree from Tusculum College and an associate
degree from Roane State Community College.
I have been happily married to my wife,
Lisa, for over 36 years and we have a son (Ethan),
daughter-in-law (Logan), and granddaughter (Ruthie).
Currently serving on the following Board
and Committees:
Little Tennessee Valley Educational
Cooperative
Capital Projects
Surplus Property
Senior Citizens Executive Committee
I have voted on resolutions to the best
of my ability to reflect what the people of the 5th
District would want and consistent with the Constitution
of the American Republic such as:
-
Yes, to legal action to address
Lenoir City’s Illegal Annexation. Paying half of
District 5’s contribution for legal fees $38,605.86
thus far from ARPA funds to save the county
taxpayers.
-
Several No votes to deny rezoning
requests that were not in the best interest of the
communities.
-
Yes, to fiscally sound $97,000,000.00
budget to meet the needs of Police, Fire, Education,
Roads, County Services. 4th lowest property taxes in
the state.
-
Voted to de-fund Economic Development
Agency (twice). EDA is a bureaucratic entity that is
costly to the county unnecessarily.
-
Yes, to resolution sending message to
oppose “Red Flag” laws.

District 5’s contribution) from ARPA Funds to

mandates for Loudon County.
-

Andrew Disney
Candidate for Loudon County School Board District 3
Greenback/Glendale
My name is Andrew ‘’Andy’’ Disney. I am a Loudon County
native and have lived in Greenback my entire life. I
attended Greenback School from Kindergarten through 12th
grade. I have worked for the City of Loudon Fire Department
for 20 years and currently hold the rank as Captain. My
wife Beth, has worked for Greenback School in the special
education department since 2006. We have two children,
Adeleigh (11yrs old), and Beau (8yrs old) that also attend
Greenback. I have volunteered with the Greenback Volunteer
Fire Department for more than 20 years now and assist
coaching various athletics programs within the community.
I take a bold stance as a born again Christian and
conservative republican. I strongly reject allowing any
liberal ideology into our schools. I believe we should do
everything in our ability to allow our children to be
innocent minded kids without corrupting their minds with
nonsense. I realize that college may not always be the best
route for every student and advocate for various types of
career and technical education classes that allow graduates
alternate routes for success.
Having quality teachers that feel they are listened to and
supported is also top priority. We have witnessed
significant growth inside our county and I feel it is
crucial that we plan ahead to ensure that we are able to
meet the needs and continue to offer a quality education to
every child for years to come.
I will consider it an honor and a privilege if elected to
this seat and humbly ask for your vote and support in the
March 5, 2024 election.

Greg Everett
For those of you that don’t know me, my name
is Greg Everett. I am a conservative running for Loudon
County School Board District 3 here in Greenback.
Quick bit of history, I enlisted in the
Marine Corps when I was 17, joined the infantry and served
my time for good ole lady America, some of which was
overseas. I quickly learned a few lessons on leadership,
consequences, and problem solving. Afterwards, I earned my
degree in Biology from MTSU and then moved to Memphis where
I earned my Doctorate from The Southern College of
Optometry. Eventually around 2012, I settled in East TN and
currently live here in Greenback with my wife and 3 kids.
Two daughters that go to Greenback, and a son who will
follow suit in a few years.
The reason why I decided to run for school
board is because I believe we can, and need to do better. We
need to establish a standard and a culture of winning, where
above average is common and expected. No need to reinvent
the wheel. The setup at Greenback is a perfect one for our
kids to excel, at any level, endeavor, or venture. We should
be dominating all of the metrics in Loudon County, across
the board. Those are my intentions. I may not be a school
board expert, but I do know a good bit about education, and
I do know how to solve problems. I wasn’t born and raised
here in Greenback but I am raising my children here.
Therefore, regardless of elections or policies put in place
by the state, I will always do what it takes to get results.
That’s a brief bit about me and what I stand for. If your
views align with mine and what I’ve stated above, I would
appreciate your vote and support in the upcoming election.
