What About The Land?
Try as he might, Loudon County Board Of Education
member, Freddie Gene Walker, just can't get the board to talk about the
2.2 mil. land deal. Again at Monday's board meeting Walker brought the
matter to the attention of the board for discussion. Again he was told
they were not going to discuss it right now, but at a workshop at a
later date. Walker and board member, Leroy Tate, have been the most
outspoken in asking questions about what seems to have turned out to be
sour deal for the board
and the county tax payers. Walker asked if it were time to put a for
sale sign on the property. The board will hold a workshop March 14th, 2:00 pm in the board room at the county building. It is unknown if the land will be a topic of discussion at this meeting. |
