Now What, We've Got This Land
In a seemingly forgotten story, the Loudon County
Board of Education now holds ownership to eighty acres,2.2 million
dollars, along Hwy. 321. The reason for the purchas of the property was
future school expansion for what the board called rapid growth. Problem
is, the new $53,000.00
survey by The Partnership for Education Facilities Assessment (PEFA)
seems to poo poo the previous reports of the board that projected major
growth on the north end of the county. In fact the report cites no need
for a new facility in the north end end of the county for the next ten
years. Oops! Related articles. Something Stinks, You Won't Believe This One, Something Stinks, Part II, Safe Harbor and What A Deal. |
