The council had received 54 applications for the job. That number was whittled down to 11 candidates that the council would consider. By the time of last week's council meeting, the number was down to 9, Ross was included in the 9. The council voted to interview 6 of the nine. Mr. Ross did not make the final six.

It is unknown if Ross has submitted his resume to any other agencies seeking a new job.

On the lighter side, I had heard that there were a number of Loudon City residents and employees that were going to send glowing recommendations to Oak Ridge city officials recommending they hire Ross. Guess that didn't work.

Looks like for now, in Loudon, Ross is still the boss.
