Women hit with drug, theft charges
 
Two women are facing theft and drug charges after law enforcement was called for a suspicious person Thursday at an apartment on Kelly Lane.
 
Lenoir City Police Officer Cole Morgan conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 321 after a gray vehicle with an expired registration left the scene.
 
Morgan met driver Ashley Danielle Buckner and passenger Mary Ruth Miller. Buckner told Morgan she had been in the apartment. After running both names, Morgan learned Miller had warrants in McMinn and Meigs counties.
 
“Mary admitted to having meth on her ... so a search of the vehicle was also conducted where two meth pipes and one marijuana pipe was recovered with a small amount of marijuana,” Morgan wrote in a report. “Eleven boxes of tile were also recovered that had been taken from the apartment estimated to be worth over $1,000.”
 
Buckner, 32, Philadelphia, was charged with aggravated burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession/casual exchange and theft of property and held on $13,500 bond.
 
Miller, 32, Ten Mile, was charged with aggravated burglary, simple possession/casual exchange and theft of property and held on $22,500 bond.

Oct. 15

• Andre Dewayne Gaines, 49, Lenoir City, was charged with driving on a revoked/suspended and driving under the influence and held on $4,000 bond.
 
• Vicente Garcia Gonzalez, 34, Loudon, was charged with violation of order of protection and held on $2,500 bond.
 
• Jeffrey Edward Isenberg, 48, Knoxville, was charged with general sessions court capias and held on $10,000 bond.
 
• Cristi Leigh Poulopoulos, 33, Knoxville, was charged with driving under the influence and released on $2,500 bond.
 
• Keith Walker, 55, Sweetwater, was charged with failure to appear and vandalism and held on $6,000 bond. A report from Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Inv. Sgt. Chris Bowen shows Walker arrived at a church off Johnson Church Road. “While there he is seen sitting on the porch,” Bowen wrote in a report. “He then walks up behind the camera he has been sitting under and then the camera goes black.”

Oct. 16

• Kaleigh Janee Collins, 25, Lenoir City, was charged with simple possession/casual exchange and contraband in a penal institution and held without bond.
 
• Laycee Brooke Monroe, 27, Knoxville, was charged with public intoxication and released on $1,000 bond.
 
• Tammy Lannette Presswood, 38, Sweetwater, was charged with violation of probation and released on $3,000 bond.
 
• Rodger Prince, 46, Wartburg, was charged with assisting other agency and released without bond.
 
• Dennis William Reeder, 44, Kingston, was charged with violation of probation and held on $4,000 bond.

Oct. 17

• Wayne Jerome Hewitt, 47, Oak Ridge, was charged with municipal court capias and held without bond.
 
• Candice Dawn Pelky, 30, Decatur, was charged with a Roane County warrant and held without bond.
 
• Rick Lynn Sands, 57, Vonore, was charged with general sessions court capias and released on $1,000 bond.

Oct. 18

• Katherine Nicole Cagley, 33, Oliver Springs, was charged with violation of probation and released on $3,000 bond.
 
• Dustin Jeremiah Cross, 38, Maryville, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released on $4,000 bond.
 
• Candice Denise Devaney, 35, Lenoir City, was charged with four counts of general sessions court capias and released on $5,000 bond.
 
• Jesse Adam McAfee, 30, Lenoir City, was charged with two counts of violation of probation and held on $3,000 bond.
 
• Mitchell Gene McFalls, 49, Lenoir City, was charged with driving under the influence and released on $1,000 bond. Observing a 2005 Honda Accord in a ditch near Sugarlimb and Old Sugarlimb roads, LCSO Deputy Brandon Pesterfield met a man standing in the roadway after he came up to the car window and said the driver of the vehicle was out and attempting to leave the scene. Pesterfield located McFalls walking up Sugarlimb Road. “I made contact with the offender and asked him what he was doing to which he stated trying to get home to his wife,” Pesterfield wrote in a report. McFalls had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech and a strong odor of alcoholic beverage. He admitted to drinking six beers.
 
• Curtis John Moore, 31, Cleveland, was charged with driving under the influence and held on $2,500 bond.
 
• Siara Nicole Owens, 21, Louisville, was charged with failure to appear and held without bond.
 
• Misty Dawn Presswood, 42, Harriman, was charged with failure to appear and released on $2,000 bond.
 
• Grace Villasana, 39, Clinton, was charged with violation of probation and a Floyd County, Ind., warrant and held on $3,000 bond.

Oct. 19

• Dustin E. Plemons, 36, Loudon, was charged with manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of a Schedule II substance, violation of probation, theft under $500 and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $3,000 bond. Dispatched to a motel off Highway 72 for a 911 call, Loudon Police Officer Bo Cogdill learned a woman was on the line saying somebody was “coming after her.” Upon arrival, Cogdill searched the area and found no one. Cogdill spoke with the motel clerk who said the call came from room 206 that was rented by a woman. After checking room 206, Cogdill talked with Dustin Plemons, who said his girlfriend was renting the room and was not there. After asking Plemons to stand up from the bed, Cogdill noticed a clear bag of methamphetamine underneath Plemons. A search of the area also revealed a bag of needles, cut straws and baggies. The meth weighed 1.4 grams.
 
• Carrie Leanne Hurst, 34, Oak Ridge, was charged with theft of property and held without bond.
 
• Jeffrey Samuel Saunders, 37, Oak Ridge, was charged with theft over $1,000 and violation of probation and held on $4,000 bond.
 
• Michelle Victoria Widner, 43, Knoxville, was charged with violation of probation and held on $4,000 bond.

Oct. 20

• Jenny Lynn Harris, 39, Loudon, was charged with driving under the influence and held on $3,000 bond.
 
• Derek Allen Miller, 30, Knoxville, was charged with theft over $1,000 and released on $2,000 bond.
 
• Christopher Lee Sharp, 25, Lenoir City, was charged with violation of probation and two counts of failure to appear and held on $5,000 bond.
 
• Melissa Ann Stewart, 50, Sweetwater, was charged with driving under the influence and released on $3,000 bond.
 
• Emily Nicole Sutton, 25, Maryville, was charged with criminal impersonation and assisting other agency and held on $2,000 bond.

Oct. 21

• Shannon Lyn Drake, 46, Harriman, was charged with violation of probation and held without bond.
 
• Nicole Lea Hatfield, 35, Lenoir City, was charged with a Greene County warrant and held without bond.
 
• Mathew Jacob Philips, 33, Lenoir City, was charged with driving under the influence and released on $1,500 bond.
 
• Kayla Beth Ritchie, 23, Lenoir City, was charged with domestic assault-misdemeanor and held without bond. Dispatched to a gas station near Interstate 75, Lenoir City Police Officer Andrew Lee spoke with Ritchie, who claimed a man she was with assaulted her. Officers could not locate marks or physical evidence showing an assault occurred. Officers then spoke with the man who had red marks on his face and an injury to his right eye. “(The man) stated the two had been at the zoo and were on their way back home when they began to argue,” Lee wrote in a report. “During the argument, he said Ms. Ritchie began to strike him in the face while he was driving. He said he then tried to pull over to get out of the car and she began to grab the steering wheel.” After arriving at a gas station, Ritchie continued to try to hit him after he exited the vehicle. She then went inside and called 911.

Oct. 22

• Justin Darrell Cozart, 36, Knoxville, was charged with contempt of court and released on $300 bond.
 
• Nikki Jean Pratt, 36, Maryville, was charged with general sessions court capias and released on $1,000 bond.
