Loudon County government certainly has more than 100 employees as does the school system. That puts us under the mandate. My guess, there's no way in heck that the Loudon County commission or the Loudon County school board will fold to the Biden mandate.

Currently, the federal government has sent Loudon County ten million dollars and the BOE is to get 3.7 million from the American Recovery Act, ARA. Wouldn't surprise me if the feds threaten to with hold that money if we don't dance to their tune. Every county and city in the US is set to receive ARA money also.

Not speaking for any other elected official but myself, but I will never agree to Biden's mandate and if they want their money back, I say more power to them. Biden can stick that money where the sun doesn't shine.

This is the United States Of America, home of the free because of the brave. If one wants to take the vaccine, I support that, if they do not, I support that. Vaccines, masks and any medical decisions are up to every individual to make their on decisions on. It's not the place of the federal government or local government to mandate any medical decisions for any one.  

I will have the matter on the next commission workshop agenda for discussion if the mandate isn't stopped before then.
