Last November, long time Loudon County commissioner, Harold Duff, passed away leaving the seat empty. In December, commission appointed Joe Morrison to fill the vacant seat. That appointment was just until the next county election. That next election will be the Loudon County Republican/Democrat primary in March 5th, 2024.

Commissioner Morrison does intend to run for that seat in March. I suspect there will also be others that will run.

I will be providing lots of information on the March election when it gets closer to time.
