Two men charged after ongoing
stalking
Two men from Loudon County are facing charges after a woman reported being stalked for months. Loudon County Sheriffs Office Deputy James Davis was called to a home Aug. 23 after a woman alleged harassment. Davis talked with the woman, who said she was being stalked by Steven John Stringer, 22, Lenoir City, and his friend, James Hunter Lee Robinette, 19, Lenoir City.
She
said an older silver vehicle with Dont Tread on Me and
Trump flags had been driving in front of her home and
revving the engine three to four times a week. She said that
behavior had been going on for four or five months.
The woman told Davis the vehicles owner and driver was Robinette and the passenger was Stringer. LCSO Sgt. Brandon Pesterfield responded to the address Thursday and again talked with the woman. She said the same vehicle with Stringer and Robinette drove by again, revving the engine and causing the vehicle to backfire repeatably. The woman supplied Pesterfield with a video of the encounter. She also said she saw Stringer point a pistol in her direction. Pesterfield, Davis and another deputy arrested Robinette on Friday and later located Stringer at his girlfriends home and placed him in custody. Stringer was charged with aggravated assault and aggravated stalking and held on $30,000 bond. Robinette was charged with stalking and held on $5,000 bond. Aug. 19 Carl Shannon Atchley Jr., 57, Loudon, was charged with criminal impersonation, resisting arrest and violation of probation and held on $17,000 bond. Joshua Ryan Brown, 39, Blaine, was charged with child endangerment, driving on a revoked/suspended license, driving under the influence, failure to show proof of insurance and ignition interlock devices and released on $14,500 bond. Derrick Joseph Crider, 33, Knoxville, was charged with public intoxication and released without bond. Guillermo Gonzalez Espinoza, 31, Loudon, was charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license, driving under the influence and violation of implied consent and released on $2,500 bond. Matthew Doyal Gibson, 36, Lenoir City, was charged with failure to appear-general sessions and released on $1,000 bond. David Lawrence Hawk, 59, Lenoir City, was charged with domestic assault and released on $1,000 bond. Alba Noemy Renderos-Ovando, 44, Lenoir City, was charged with driving under the influence, financial responsibility law, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, license required and violation of implied consent and released on $2,000 bond. Jose Manuel Zavala Gonzalez, 32, Lenoir City, was charged with weekender serving time and held without bond.
