Truck Stop Approved
| On a 3-1 vote, the Loudon City council approved the
location of the Race Track Truck Stop/Gas Station/Convenience Store. The
facility will be located at the I-75 North exit ramp to Hwy. 72.
Councilman, Eric Newman was the lone NO vote. The location has been controversial from the beginning due to traffic concerns. Race Track has agreed to place red lights at their entrance on Hwy. 72.
