Trio faces charges after officer sees pot
Two men and a woman are facing multiple charges after
one of them smoked pot beside a police car at an intersection in
Lenoir City.
While stopped at a traffic light at Exit 81 of
Interstate 75, Lenoir City Police Officer Shannon Runyan saw the
driver of a maroon 2006 Lincoln pull a pipe and lighter from his
pocket to smoke what Runyan believed was marijuana.
Runyan initiated a traffic stop and talked with the
driver, James Allen Whaley, as well as passengers Mysti Danielle
Gomez and Mark Allen McCullough.
As he searched the vehicle, Runyan found 11 grams
of a leafy green substance believed to be marijuana, several
plastic sandwich baggies, a metal marijuana grinder, a glass
marijuana pipe, two white pills and a blue plastic container
with a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Gomez, who was a passenger in the back seat, had
approximately 3.5 grams of crystal meth, digital scales,
approximately 4 grams of marijuana, a glass meth pipe and later
was found to have a blue plastic baggie with what was believed
to be meth.
McCullough had .1 grams of a dark substance
believed to be heroin, a bent silver spoon with used filters and
a needle.
Whaley, 30, Maryville, was charged with simple
possession/casual exchange, possession of legend drugs and
possession of drug paraphernalia and released on $6,000 bond.
McCullough, 31, Harriman, was charged with
simple possession/casual exchange and possession of drug
paraphernalia and held on $4,000 bond.
Gomez, 36, Lenoir City, was charged with
manufacture, sell, delivery, resale of a Schedule III substance,
manufacture, sell, delivery, resale of a Schedule VI substance
and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $22,000 bond.
Nov. 6
Virgil Nathan Beck, 36, homeless, was charged
with a Roane County warrant and theft of property and held on
$5,000 bond.
Robert Jerome Benton III, 18, Athens, was
charged with three counts of theft of property and three counts
of burglary of motor vehicle and held on $39,000 bond.
William Cowden Brown, 40, Kingston, was charged
with theft of property and released on $2,000 bond.
Eugene Davidson, 38, Ten Mile, was charged with
theft over $100, theft over $1,000 and aggravated burglary and
held on $37,500 bond.
Ronnie Lee Davidson, 36, Philadelphia, was
charged with theft of property, theft over $1,000 and aggravated
burglary and held on $37,500 bond.
Natalie Christina Degroot, 35, Sweetwater, was
charged with three counts of possession of legend drugs and held
on $7,500 bond.
Donald Edward McCoy, 40, Knoxville, was charged
with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass and released on
$2,000 bond.
Callie Millsaps, 20, Athens, was charged with
three counts of theft of property and three counts of burglary
of motor vehicle and held on $39,000 bond.
Georgann Smith Woods, 55, Lenoir City, was
charged with driving under the influence and released on $1,500
bond.

Waylon Bernard T. Ackerman, 36, Lenoir City,
was charged with a Monroe County warrant and released without
bond.
Darrell Alan Brown, 31, Louisville, was charged
with a juvenile attachment and held on $500 bond.
Randall Dale Brown, 32, Lenoir City, was
charged with public intoxication and released on $1,000 bond.
Raven Danielle Maples, 34, Strawberry Plains,
was charged with a Knox County warrant and released without
bond.

Michael James John Amble, 53, Lenoir City, was
charged with failure to appear-general sessions and held without
bond.
Rachel Annemiriam Comer, 33, Loudon, was
charged with assisting other agency and theft of property and
held without bond.
Kayla Marie Galyon, 23, Knoxville, was charged
with driving under the influence and released on $2,000 bond.
James Thomas Inman, 34, Sweetwater, was charged
with violation of probation and held without bond.
Bethanna Ruth Pennisi, 30, Oak Ridge, was
charged with assisting other agency and held without bond.
Michael George Ramey, 26, Knoxville, was
charged with driving under the influence and driving on a
revoked/suspended license and released on $6,000 bond.
Natasha Lynn Ramsey, 25, Knoxville, was charged
with failure to appear-general sessions and held without bond.

Daniel Wayne Capps, 31, Philadelphia, was
charged with failure to appear-general sessions and released on
$3,000 bond.
Reginald Deanthony Pass, 41, Atlanta, Ga., was
charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal
impersonation and held on $5,000 bond.
Pedro Damian-Hernandez, 28, Morristown, was
charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and held on
$2,000 bond.
Rachel Michelle Langley, 37, Sweetwater, was
charged with failure to appear-general sessions and released on
$4,000 bond.
Christopher William Sherrill, 26, Sweetwater,
was charged with driving under the influence and released on
$1,500 bond.
Leslie Jenene Stinnett, 24, Lenoir City, was
charged with public intoxication and released on $1,000 bond.

Lisa Marie Bumbaugh, 41, Sweetwater, was
charged with simple possession/casual exchange and released on
$2,000 bond.
Anthony Ray Henry, 30, Loudon, was charged with
burglary and held without bond.
Heath Shane Norrell, 45, Chattanooga, was
charged with domestic assault-misdemeanor and released on
$2,000 bond.
Mario Garcia Rodriguez, 49, Philadelphia,
was charged with simple possession/casual exchange,
possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to
appear-general sessions and held on $2,000 bond.
Richard Allen Stout, 46, Philadelphia, was
charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and
possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $2,000 bond.
Craig Allen Williams, 38, Knoxville, was
charged with prohibited weapons, driving under the influence
and reckless driving and released on $7,000 bond.
Nov. 11
Crystal J. Bingham, 44, Philadelphia, was
charged with two counts of manufacture, sell, delivery,
resale of a Schedule II substance, three counts of simple
possession/casual exchange, two counts of possession of
legend drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and
released on $42,000 bond. Observing a white Cadillac with
expired tags going 55 mph and a 45 mph zone, Loudon County
Sheriff's Office Deputy Cody Fritts stopped with Bingam.
Ms. Bingham had pinpoint eyes and white power residue in
the left nostril of her nose, Fritts wrote in the report.
Bingham denied taking any substances. After being granted to
search her vehicle, Fritts found a brown and pink change
purse with five 15-mg Oxycodone pills, three 20-mg Oxycodone
pills, one Adderall pill, two Suboxone strips, three
Buprenorphine and Naloxone strips, one Ondansetron pill,
four Sucralfate pills, one empty capsule of 40-mg Vyvanse
and a cut straw. Binghams purse also had two notebooks with
documented narcotic sales.
Mary Margaret Goddard, 42, Lenoir City, was
charged with theft under $1,000 and released on $1,000 bond.
Brandon Leslie Harmon, 24, Oak Ridge, was
charged with an Anderson County warrant and held without
bond.
Amanda Nicole Parson, 35, Lenoir City, was
charged with theft under $1,000 and released on $1,000 bond.
Christopher William Sharp, 46,
Philadelphia, was charged with driving under the influence
and released on $1,000 bond.
Lucas Allen Stinnett, 37, Lenoir City, was
charged with violation of probation and held without bond.
Becky Juanita Viars, 47, Loudon, was
charged with failure to appear-general sessions and held
without bond.
Nov. 12
Roy Lee Culberson, 45, Athens, was charged
with a McMinn County warrant and held without bond.
Amanda G. Gibson, 37, Greenback, was
charged with criminal court capias and released on $5,000
bond.
Terry Dewayne Griffin Jr., 37, Sweetwater,
was charged with violation of probation and held without
bond.
Jorge Esteban Macias-Diaz, 25,
Philadelphia, was charged with simple possession/casual
exchange, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving
without a valid license and held on $3,000 bond.
Richard Allen McDonald, 54, Loudon, was
charged with public intoxication and held on $1,000 bond.
Denieka Ann Skeens, 27, Lenoir City, was
charged with domestic assault-felony and held without bond.
Responding to a physical domestic assault, Lenoir City
Police Officer Cole Morgan talked with Skeens, who said she
had been assaulted by a man. After further investigating,
Morgan noticed the man had marks on his neck from being
grabbed. (Victim one) ... stated he came home and Denieka
was screaming and furious about something of which he did
not know, Morgan wrote in the report. As he and his mother
(victim two) walked into the living room, Denieka came down
the stairs with a shelf and started swinging it at him.
After taking the shelf from Skeens, she grabbed the mans
throat. Morgans report also notes Skeens grabbed a hammer,
like she was going to hit (victim two) in an attempt to
cause serious bodily harm or death.
Nov. 13
Michael Wayne Ramsey, 49, Maryville, was
charged with violation of probation and held on $30,000
bond.
Dustin Duane Rolen, 30, Lenoir City, was
charged with public intoxication and held on $1,000 bond.
