Tile factory in Loudon County set to resume production

 

LOUDON COUNTY (WATE) – A tile factory in Loudon County that broke out in flames earlier this month is set to resume production.

On January 4th, Del Conca USA was affected by a fire that involved part of the Press department. The fire was quickly put out and no one was hurt.

The fire damage affected only one of the presses at the building, but production has temporarily been stopped to ensure the restoration of safety conditions and functionality of the machinery.

Shipping and office activities have resumed and are going on regularly at full speed.

The company has scheduled restart of production for Monday January, 25th and does not foresee particular inconvenience for its customers, due to the large stock of products available. All lost production volumes will be soon recovered also with the collaboration of other companies in the Del Conca group.
