Pumping In Money

The Home Builders Association Of Greater Knoxville/Building Industry Political Action Committee just keeps pumping money into the Loudon County commission races. In their latest mailer intended to help Julia Hurley, they attacked one of her opponents. Hurley is being challenged by William Jenkins and Dennis Lanham. The latest mailer, paid for by the Building Industry Political Action Committee, attacked 2nd district candidate William Jenkins for his past voting record. According to the mailer, Jenkins voted democrat 14 years ago but didn't mention that he had never voted democrat again.

The mailer also failed to mention that Ms. Hurley has not voted in any election since 2018. Who knows but what she is now going to change parties. And I can only assume since the Building Industry Political Action Committee is now concerned with past voting records and political affiliation, they will surely be sending out a mailer denouncing Eddie Simpson for also voting democrat.

Again, think about how much money the Home Builders Association Of Greater Knoxville/Building Industry Political Action Committee is spending in this election. This should scare every voter in Loudon County to the polls.

If Eddie Simpson, Julia Hurley and Mark Matlock were to get elected, Loudon County is doomed to go the way of Hardin Valley and West Knoxville.

If you don't want to see this happen, get out and vote against these three candidates.
