Village recreation center damaged after car crashes through wall
LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Deputies with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a recreation center Wednesday morning after a car drove through a wall of the building.
According to the sheriff’s
office, the crash happened at the Chota Recreation Center, which
is located on Awohili Drive in the Tellico Village area near
Loudon.
One person inside the building had minor injuries.
LCSO explained that the crash is believed to be age related, not caused by weather.
The building did have some structural damage. Photos from the scene show the a blue car that appears to have backed through a wall of the recreation center.
