Here They Come
| Just like mosquitoes and flies, you can set your
clock on the fact that, as the weather warms, those West Knox, imbeciles
bicycle riders will show up on all the county upper end roads. And not
just the main roads, but all the most narrow, back county roads. In
fact, it seems the smaller the roads, the more they enjoy blocking the
traffic. For some unknown reason, our previous sheriff, Tim Guider, absolutely refused to enforce existing laws that would prevent this kind of problem. Of course, we have a new sheriff now and hopefully, he will be more vigilant to enforce the law and have his deputies write a few dozen traffic tickets and send there numbskulls back to West Knox. I will have the issue on the next county commission workshop for discussion. The bicyclist present an extreme dander to themselves and others. In 2022, 36 people were killed with AR-15 rifles. That same year, over 1,200 people were killed in bicycle related incidents. Maybe it's time for a bicycle ban on roads. As a footnote, Loudon County is currently named in two lawsuits by bicycle riders that obviously weren't bright enough to be riding bicycles anyway. As a second footnote, researchers have discovered that riding bicycles can likely cause erectile dysfunction. This might explain a lot.
