Out going first district county commissioner, Kelly
Brewster, recently submitted her resignation as the chairperson and
member of the Loudon County Solid Waste Commission.
Apparently, she takes great issue with myself and
several other commissioners in her resignation letter. I have no idea
how we caused, "psychological
and physical harm to my body". But apparently, disagreeing with her on
the new landfill contract amendment was all it took. Fact of the matter
is, her term on the solid waste commission expires with her county
commission term on September 1st.
Sorry to see her go out on a sour note,
but I guess everybody's gotta to do what they gotta do.

To The
Honorable Mayor Bradshaw:
Dear
Mayor Bradshaw,
I hope
this day finds you well! However, due to the unsolicited and
flagrant attacks on my reputation from County Commissioners
Henry Cullen, Commissioner Van Shaver, Commissioner Bill
Satterfield, and Commissioner Adam Waller I will no longer
be able to serve on the Loudon County Solid Waste Board
effective immediately. The slanderous attacks from these
Commissioners have caused psychological and physical harm to
my body.
After
eight years of serving on the Solid Waste Board and
understanding how a landfill works along with the
requirements of TDEC, it disturbs me that my integrity is
questioned by these individuals. The fact that these
individuals hindered me from communicating about the
landfill by their rude and outspoken comments during
meetings only confirms that after eight years my
creditability is being attacked. The disrespect these
individuals show other people when they are to be the
leaders and spokesmen for their community is disgraceful and
embarrassing. Therefore please accept this letter as my
resignation effective immediately.
Mayor
Bradshaw, it has been an honor to serve your administration
and the citizens of this county. Thank you for all your
support and leadership.
Sincerely,
Kelly
Littleton-Brewster
