Right now they plan to reopen the road on November 1st to allow one way traffic on Simpson Road back to Shaw Ferry Road. This will help traffic flow a lot.
It'll be a while before it's done but it'll be nice when it is.
Simpson Road Update
| The contractor is moving right along with the
construction of Simpson Road. They've taken a lot of the blind hill out
at the north entrance to First Baptist Church and are building a
retaining wall on the north side of the hill. They've also put in a lot
of the drainage tiles. Right now they plan to reopen the road on November 1st to allow one way traffic on Simpson Road back to Shaw Ferry Road. This will help traffic flow a lot. It'll be a while before it's done but it'll be nice when it is.
