Ross In Final 4

Florida, manager search board meeting, members narrowed their choices
down to four. Loudon City manager, Ty Ross, made the cut to be in the
final four candidates to be considered for that job. At one point while candidates were being discussed, one of the search committee members stated that Ty Ross's first cousin was in the audience. The four finalists will be invited to Fernandina Beach for a tour, public reception and formal interviews with the city commission on Sept. 11 and Sept. 12, with a possible decision then or shortly thereafter. Ross is apparently on a quest for a new job. Last month he was cut from the Oak Ridge manager search but is closer on the Florida search and who knows how many other places he's put in applications. Ross might have to take a little pay cut for the Florida job, but hey, 165k and live in Loudon or 157k and live on the beach. Hard call. Guess Mr. Ross will need a few days off to go to the interview. |
