Roane man arrested on gun, drug charges
A Rockwood man is facing multiple charges after law
enforcement discovered an unattended vehicle on Melton Hill Dam
property.
Dispatched to an abandoned vehicle on the Melton Hill
Dam property, Loudon County Sheriff's Office Deputy Charles Huskin
made contact with a vehicle that was nearly in the Melton Hill water
with no one in it. Huskin approached the passenger window and saw
the keys in the ignition and a visible firearm in the driver’s door
lower panel. Additional law enforcement arrived on scene and found a
sawed off shotgun in the grass on the passenger side, a large bag of
marijuana weighing 29 grams in the driver’s door, a 9mm handgun, a
silver pill container with .08 grams of methamphetamine, a silver
Smith and Wesson 38 special revolver under the passenger seat,
aluminum foil, a camouflage hat, an ammunition bag in the grass
beside the driver’s side, $38 and a large black bowie knife under
the center console.
Thaddeus L. Webb, 44, admitted to law enforcement the
items were his.
Webb was charged with leaving the scene of an
accident, prohibited weapons, two counts of simple possession/casual
exchange and possession of drug paraphernalia and held without
bond.
Sept. 5
• Bradley J. Clowers, 40, Loudon, was charged with
criminal court capias and released on $2,000 bond.
• Alan Lynn Eldridge, 54, Loudon, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and two counts of failure to
appear and released on $14,000 bond.
• Jeffrey Dru Everett, 38, Lenoir City, was charged
with a Knox County warrant and released without bond.
• Ashton Hope Ford, 18, Lenoir City, was charged with
three counts of domestic assault-misdemeanor and held on $3,000
bond.
Dispatched to South Walnut Street on a disturbance call, Lenoir City Police Officer Jordan Samuels talked with a woman who said Ford and her mother got into an argument over Ford wanting to leave to Cookeville to get her boyfriend. While attempting to keep Ford from leaving, Ford began to punch and pull the woman’s hair.
• William Derrick Frederick, 19, Lenoir City, was
charged with domestic assault-felony and held without bond.
• Kasey Brookshire Miller, 37, Sweetwater, was
charged with violation of probation and held on $2,000 bond.
• Daniel James Stephens, 20, Columbia, was charged
with criminal court capias and held on $30,000 bond.
Sept. 6
• Roy Anderson Baker, 52, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released without
bond.
• William Derrick Baker, 32, Loudon, was charged with
assisting other agency and failure to appear-criminal court and held
without bond.
• Heather Elaine Freitag, 35, Maryville, was
charged with theft under $1,000 and held on $2,000 bond.
• Johnnie Sue Spurling, 24, Greenback, was
charged with failure to appear-general sessions and released on
$4,000 bond.
• Chaiden Allen Stevens, 18, Loudon, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released on
$1,000 bond.
• Djuma Celestine Uwize, 41, Knoxville, was
charged with fugitive from justice and held without bond.
Sept. 7
• Sergio Arreola, 39, Lenoir City, was charged
with unlawful carrying of a weapon and theft of property and
held without bond.
• Bobby Lee Ayers, 21, Athens, was charged with
theft over $1,000 and held on $10,000 bond.
• Christopher Michael Bertram, 29, Kingston, was
charged with possession of a Schedule II substance and
possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $4,000 bond.
• Emily Brooke Orr, 21, Lenoir City, was charged
with failure to appear, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple
possession/casual exchange and violation of probation and held
without bond.
• William Chris Trezise, 51, Lenoir City, was
charged with domestic assault-felony and released on $15,000
bond. Lenoir City Police Officer Shannon Runyan was dispatched
to the 300 block of Glenbrook Drive for a possible domestic
violence incident. The woman claimed Trezise pointed a shotgun
at her. Upon arriving on scene, Runyan talked with the woman who
said the two had argued. Trezise was “heavily intoxicated”
during the incident, according to the report.
• Carrie Marie Velasquez, 31, Maryville, was
charged with violation of probation and released without bond.
Sept. 8
• Brian Casey Chambers, 45, Maryville, was
charged with a juvenile attachment and held on $29,785.57 bond.
• Daniel Wade Couch, 37, Lenoir City, was charged
with manufacture, sell, delivery or resale of a Schedule II
substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and released on
$3,000 bond.
• William Andrew Clinton, 28, Harriman, was
charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released
on $2,000 bond.
• George Lawrance Errington, 53, Lenoir City, was
charged with driving under the influence and simple
possession/casual exchange and released on $2,000 bond. LCSO
Sgt. Michael Watkins was in his patrol vehicle on U.S. Highway
321 when an off-duty fireman stopped and told him that a green
Nissan pickup was “all over the road” and nearly hit him before
pulling onto the shoulder. After making contact with the driver,
identified as Errington, Watkins noticed the man had a strong
odor of alcoholic beverage and was “very unsteady” standing.
“... When asked how much alcohol he had drank, his response was
‘too much’,” Watkins wrote in the report. Watkins also found a
small baggy with 2 grams of marijuana while searching
Errington’s vehicle.
• Michelle Bea Lane, 35, Lenoir City, was charged
with criminal court capias and held without bond.
• Samantha Leann Frye, 29, Louisville, was
charged with two counts of simple possession/casual exchange,
possession of legend drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and
driving under the influence and held on $2,000 bond. Observing a
tan Chevrolet Malibu traveling on Highway 411, LCSO Deputy Cody
Fritts noticed the driver leaning into the passenger seat
floorboard. Both driver side tires crossed into the center lane.
“When I asked Ms. Frye why she was swerving and crossing into
the center turn lane she stated she was trying to get a pack of
cigarettes out of the passenger seat floorboard,” Fritts wrote
in the report. “I could smell the odor of marijuana coming from
the vehicle.” Frye initially told Fritts she had nothing illegal
in her vehicle before telling him about marijuana in the middle
console. Found inside the middle console was a purple bag with
one pipe, one baggy of marijuana seeds, one baggy of marijuana,
one empty Suboxone strip, rolling papers and a cut straw. In
Frye’s purse were two cut straws and one yellow capsule. In
Frye’s front shirt pocket were two baggies of white pills.
• Samantha Johndale Oody, 29, Loudon, was charged
with failure to appear and violation of probation and held on
$2,000 bond.
• Charles Edward Robinette, 46, Lenoir City,
was charged with theft under $500 and released without bond.
• Michael Otis Slone, 49, Lenoir City, was
charged with public intoxication and released on $1,000
bond.
• Kendra Elyse Treadway, 24, Lenoir City, was
charged with robbery and possession of paraphernalia and
held on $40,000 bond.
Sept. 9
• Cynthia Ann Clevenger, 48, Newport, was
charged with violation of probation and released on $2,000
bond.
• Juan Daniel Espinoza, 21, Loudon, was
charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and held
without bond.
• James Richard Floyd Jr., 42, Knoxville, was
charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and
released on $2,000 bond.
• Fernando Cisneros Gonzalez, 20, Lenoir
City, was charged with failure to appear and false reports
to officer and released on $5,500 bond.
• Austin Wade Orasco, 20, Friendsville, was
charged with failure to appear and held without bond.
• Lee Lincoln Thompson, 45, Lenoir City, was
charged with domestic assault and held without bond.
Responding to a call of a domestic violence incident, LCSO
Deputy Lance Anderson arrived on scene off Hall Street and
found a man with a bruised left eye who was also bleeding
from his right arm. “The victim stated he got into an
argument with (Thompson) and (Thompson) punched him in the
face,” Anderson wrote the report. “The victim then stated
that both parties fought on the ground and (Thompson) kicked
him several times.” Thompson told Anderson the fight started
because he wanted a “shot of dope” from the victim who goes
to a methadone clinic.
• Blake Richard Townson, 23, Lenoir City, was
charged with driving under the influence, immediate notice
of accident, driving on a revoked/suspended license and
leaving the scene of accident with property damage and held
without bond.
• Mickey Joe Youngblood, 19, Madisonville,
was charged with violation of probation and held without
bond.
Sept. 10
• Tonya D. Buchanan, 27, Morristown, was
charged with child support and held on $300 bond.
• Nicholas Rolla Brooks, 33, Atlanta, Ind.,
was charged with public intoxication and held on $4,000
bond.
• Rebecca Sue Carter, 24, Madisonville, was
charged with criminal court capias and held on $1,000 bond.
Sept. 11
• Derik James Adams, 28, Greenback, was
charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and held
without bond.
