There are actually two different projects to be done at the same time. The intersection of Hwy. 321 and Hwy.11/Broadway is gong to be completely reconfigured and boy does it need it.

The second part of the project will be Hwy. 321 from Hwy.11/Broadway to Simpson Road/Burger King. This section will become 7 lanes, 3 each direction with a continuous, controlled center turn lane. Water lines will have to be moved and all the storm drains redone.

The 14 million dollar project is expected to take up to two years for full completion. It will be a mess and traffic will be horrendous for a time. But when's it's all done, it will be so nice.

Us locals may as well start using the back roads. Just keep thinking, it will be better one day, it will be better one day.
