County Commission, 2006-2008, representing the 2nd District.
Shirley
Bailes Reno - age 77 of Lenoir City, passed away Friday morning, January
21, 2022. Shirley was a member of First Baptist Church Lenoir City where
she sang in the choir. She served on the Loudon County Chamber of
Commerce, Loudon County Visitors Bureau, Loudon County Republican
Women’s Club. Shirley was former Co-Owner of J B’s Country Store, former
Co-Owner Smoky Distributing. She was a former member of Smokey Mountain
Harmony, in addition to many other local clubs, committees and
organizations.
Shirley was preceded by her parents, Clayton and Bessie
Bailes of Lenoir City and Helen and Phillip Benson of Rogersville;
brother, Lawrence Clayton Bailes (Tinker); sisters: Judy Poteat, Janice
Sica, Susy Dinsmore; grandson, Jeremy Aikens and great grandson, Kaden
Aikens.
She is survived by her sons: Troy Perlov (Terry), Brian
Perlov (Claire), and Nicholas Reno (Lorena Crouse); grandchildren:
Alexandria Perlov, Leigh Ann Aikens Parks (Jamey), Brandon Perlov
(Kristina), Matthew Perlov (Lauren), Andrew O’Donnell, Catherine
O’Donnell, and Stephanie Crouse; great grandchildren: Katelyn Montes
(Anthony), Kiara Aikens (Jacob Davis), Eliza Aikens (Gabriel Carrasco),
Kaleb Aikens (Madelyn Woods); great-great grandchild, Penelope Montes;
sisters: Patricia Swann, Lisa Benker (Steve), Tennessee LaFollette
(Eric), Lora Lynn Daugherty, along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday,
January 23rd at Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street in Lenoir City.
Funeral services will at 7 p.m. with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating.
Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10 a.m. Monday and
proceed to Lawnville Cemetery in Roane County for 11 a.m. graveside
services. Pall Bearers will be: Brandon Perlov, Matthew Perlov, Andrew
O’Donnell, Kaleb Aikens, Anthony Montes, Jacob Davis. Click Funeral Home
in Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
