Reappraisal Time 2
| As reported earlier, this year is reappraisal year.
Loudon County Property Assessor, Mike Campbell, will be at tonight's
commission meeting to update commissioners on where he is on the
process.
Remember, the property assessor does not raise your taxes, only your county commissioners or city council can do that to you. Be sure to let your elected officials know you're not interested in higher property taxes. Below is a link to a good video produced by the state explaining the reappraisal process. Watch and listen to it closely. Don't let any politicians try to pull the wool over your eyes. Also a link to some interesting fact and figures pertaining to the county demographics compiled by Mr. Campbell. He will be presenting these and more tonight. |
