The board is looking at nearly $83,000,000.00 in improvements for their water and sewer systems.
Every water and sewer customer on the LUB system will be effected. Tellico Village rate payers, who already have very high sewer and water rates, will certainly feel the hike as will Loudon's largest industry, Tate Lyle, who is looking at a nearly million dollar per year increase in costs.
The LUB board will be meeting tonight, 1/23, at the Loudon City Hall at 4:30 pm. Rate payers are encouraged to attend to share concerns with the board.
