A Greenback man was jailed on $50,000 total bond this week after reportedly threatening two fellow Greenback residents with a firearm over the weekend.

Heath Bettag, 39, Maple Lane, Greenback, was arrested by Blount County Sheriff’s Office deputies at his residence Tuesday and booked on two counts of aggravated assault. He is being held on bonds totaling $50,000 pending a 9 a.m. Jan. 24 hearing in Blount County General Sessions Court.
