Police find pills, counterfeit
cash at home While serving an arrest warrant last week at a home in the 160 block of Chrisman Road in Lenoir City, officials with the Loudon County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit and the Ninth Judicial Drug Task Force located numerous narcotics, drug paraphernalia and counterfeit currency. Police recovered 77 oxycodone pills, 56 oxymorphone, 38-2 mg alprazolam, $50 in counterfeit money, three $10 bills, one $20 bill and multiple used needles and burnt spoons commonly used to cook and inject narcotics, according to the arrest report. "During a mirandized interview (Coffman) advised he has been selling his prescription pain medication," according to the report.
Coffman was charged with two counts of
manufacture/sell/delivery/resale of a Schedule II substance,
manufacture/sell/delivery/resale of a Schedule IV substance,
criminal simulation, maintaining a dwelling and possession of drug
paraphernalia and held on $91,000 bond.
May 23
Bryant Ramirez Aguilera, 21, Loudon, was charged with possession
of drug paraphernalia and released on $2,000 bond. Dispatched to a
bank in the city of Loudon where a man was suspected of withdrawing
money from an account that did not belong to him, Loudon Police
Officer Bryan Blakney learned that the man, Aguilera, left the bank
and was headed in the direction of Mulberry Street. Blakney saw
Aguilera's vehicle turn into a residence on Mulberry, and Aguilera
jumped out of the car and fled into a home. "I ordered him to stop
numerous times but he failed to do so," Blakney wrote.
Keith Allen Case, 54, Lenoir City, was charged with driving on a
revoked license and released on $1,000 bond.
Brian Keith Jones, 45, Loudon, was charged with vandalism and
domestic assault-misdemeanor and held on $2,000 bond. Responding to
a call of a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Vale Street,
police spoke with witnesses, who said Jones assaulted a woman by
tackling her and shoving her to the ground, which caused a scratch
on her arm and redness on her back, according to the arrest report.
Jones reportedly left the residence, and police located him in the
600 block of Ferry Street. In a separate incident report, LCSO
Deputy Chance Gray was in the booking area of Loudon County Jail
when Jones asked if he could be moved into protective custody. Jones
told officers that he was not compatible with other inmates in the
jail, but when asked for more information, Jones could not give an
answer, Gray wrote in the report. "Mr. Jones then stated that he was
in fear for his life," Gray wrote. "I then asked Mr. Jones why he
felt he was in fear for his life. Mr. Jones then became angry and
stated just to put him up and began aggressively swinging his hands
and yelling." Jones was then taken to another part of the facility
for a "cool-off period," according to the report. Gray then heard a
"loud banging" coming from where Jones had been placed, and when
officers arrived, they found Jones had broked a phone receiver in
half, according to the report.
Eric Matthew Leach, 29, Lenoir City, was charged with criminal
trespass and driving on a revoked license and released on $1,000
bond.
May 24
Denarius Martrel Arrington, 30, Maryville, was charged with
failure to appear and fugitive from justice and held without bond.
John Henry Goedeke, 23, Lenoir City, was charged with resisting
arrest and released on $1,000 bond.
Bobby Alan Hubbard, 36, Loudon, was charged with driving under the
influence, driving on a revoked license-fourth offense and criminal
impersonation and held on $10,000 bond.
Kristy Leigh Jaynes, 36, Loudon, was charged with violation of
probation and failure to appear out of Knox County and held on
$10,000 bond.
Johanna Lorine Metze, 38, Philadelphia, was charged with theft of
property and released without bond. According to the arrest report,
Metza drove Jimmy Presley to a retail store in Lenoir City, where
the man took a $264 air conditioning unit, according to police.
Metze drove Presley away from the store and subsequently posted the
AC unit for sale on Facebook. Metze arranged a meeting with a
potential buyer, a loss prevention employee with the store, at a gas
station in Lenoir City, according to the report. Police spotted the
AC unit in Metze's vehicle at the gas station and made the arrest.
Jimmy Dale Presley Jr., 31, Lenoir City, was charged with criminal
trespass and theft of property and held without bond.
John Mark Murray, 52, Lenoir City, was charged with violation of
probation and released on $20,000 bond.
Ryan Kevin St. Pierre, 42, Loudon, was charged with driving on a
revoked/suspended license and released on $4,000 bond.
Alexander Wesley Strader, 20, Jefferson City, was charged with
underage consumption and released on $2,000 bond. Dispatched to a
call of a juvenile party that had gotten "out of hand" in the 1800
block of McKelvey Road, LCSO Deputy Chris Hutchens and another
deputy found three males walking along the road, one of whom was
Strader, according to the arrest report. "It was found that the
other two males had left the residence after Strader had fled the
residence, and they were trying to get him to come back," Hutchens
wrote. "Strader was soaking wet and had a strong odor of (an)
alcoholic beverage emitting from his person." Deputies brought the
three individuals back to the home, but Strader fled a second time,
according to the report. "Once everyone was gathered it was
established that Strader had consumed too much alcohol, and became
belligerent before fleeing the residence the first time," Hutchens
wrote.
Ashley Clay Thompson, 42, Lenoir City, was charged with violation
of probation and failure to appear and released on $5,000 bond.
May 25
Jeremiah Jackson Ballew, 33, Knoxville, was charged with theft of
property and resisting arrest and released on $4,000 bond.
Responding to a call of a shoplifter at a retail store in Lenoir
City, police spoke with a loss prevention employee, who said Ballew
put on two pairs of shorts and a shirt and put two packs of clear
bags in his pocket, according to the arrest report. Ballew left the
store and began running through the parking lot toward Home Depot,
according to the report. Officers told Ballew to stop in the parking
lot, but the man continued to flee before eventually being detained.
Ballew was banned from the retail store property.
Kristen Lee Brashears, 36, Loudon, was charged with domestic
assault-felony and held on $10,000 bond. Dispatched to a call of a
domestic dispute in the 900 block of Summer Street, Loudon Police
Officer Jonathan Yates spoke with Brashears and a man after an
argument, according to the arrest report. The man tried to leave the
residence, but Brashears shot him in the back with a carbon
dioxide-powered BB gun, which left "two distinct welts and
bruising," Yates wrote in the report. After speaking with both
people, police determined that Brashears was the primary aggressor,
according to the report.
Misty Kay Dills, 38, Pigeon Forge, was charged with violation of
probation and released without bond.
Terry Lee Jaynes, 32, Loudon, was charged with violation of
probation and released on $1,000 bond.
Elijah Daniel ONeal, 34, Loudon, was charged with violation of
probation and released without bond.
Mark Anthony Stevens, 19, Loudon, was charged with disorderly
conduct and held on $2,000 bond.
David Franklin Thomas, 23, Philadelphia, was charged with failure
to appear-municipal court and held on $2,000 bond.
Joshua Alan Underwood, 29, Loudon, was charged with disorderly
conduct and held on $2,000 bond.
Nathan Brandon Underwood, 28, Lenoir City, was charged with two
counts of coercion of a witness and held on $180,000 bond.
Gregory Darrel West, 46, Lenoir City, was charged with possession
of a handgun while under the influence and held without bond.
May 26
Michael Chase Barron, 21, Knoxville, was charged with theft under
$500 and simple possession/casual exchange and released on $2,000
bond.
Thomas Daniel Bryant, 28, Lenoir City, was charged with possession
of drug paraphernalia and held on $1,000 bond.
Scott Dewayne Goins, 45, Lenoir City, was charged with simple
possession/casual exchange and possession of drug paraphernalia and
held on $4,000 bond.
John Robert Lee, 22, Lenoir City, was charged with failure to
appear and released on $1,000 bond.
Marcus Anthony Rogers, 43, Lenoir City, was charged with driving
on a suspended license and released on $1,000 bond.
Cory Austin Scruggs, 21, Sweetwater, was charged with domestic
assault and held on $2,000 bond. Responding to a call of a domestic
assault in the 3300 block of Holt Road, LCSO Deputy Jamie Ketner
spoke with Scruggs, who had a box of 12-gauge slugs in his front
pocket, according to the arrest report. Scruggs told deputies that
he and a 15-year-old had been in a fight, adding that the younger
individual tried to "act like his boss," Ketner wrote in the report.
Scruggs told police that the 15-year-old threw the first punch. When
the juvenile and his mother arrived at the residence, Ketner noticed
that the juvenile had a busted lip and two swollen black eyes,
Ketner wrote. The teenager said he was trying to go into the house
when Scruggs swung at him, and the two then began to fight, Ketner
wrote. Two firearms were taken from the home, including a 12-gauge
Remington belonging to Scruggs and a Smith & Wesson belonging to the
juvenile's father, who lives in another state, according to the
report. The boy's mother said she did not want the firearm in her
house and requested that the sheriff's office hold onto it, Ketner
wrote.
Timothy Paul Spellings, 25, Lenoir City, was charged with driving
on a revoked/suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia
and held on $3,000 bond.
Tyler Creek Tackett, 21, Lenoir City, was charged with domestic
assault-misdemeanor and released on $1,000 bond.
T.J. Wilkerson, 54, Lenoir City, was charged with failure to
appear and simple possession/casual exchange and held on $2,000
bond.

Jeffery Scott Elsea, 46, Niota, was charged with violation of
probation and held on $30,000 bond.
Karen Flowers, 38, Philadelphia, was charged with possession of
drug paraphernalia and two counts of simple possession/casual
exchange and held on $2,000 bond.
Taylor Wayne Hill, 19, Lenoir City, was charged with evading
arrest, reckless driving, two counts of reckless endangerment,
driving under the influence and violation of implied consent and
held on $23,000 bond.

counts of failure to appear-general sessions and held without bond.
Phillip D. Shope, 51, Sweetwater, was charged with criminal
impersonation and held on $2,000 bond.
Rachel Marie Barenberg, 20, Myrtle Beach, S.C., was charged with
driving under the influence, refusal to sign citation and violation
of implied consent and released on $5,000 bond.
Stephanie Marie Croft, 38, Loudon, was charged with theft under
$500 and released on $1,000 bond.
Terry Lane Ferguson, 30, Rome, Ga., was charged with theft of
property and held without bond.
Allen Joshua Fritts, 36, Loudon, was charged with failure to
appear and held without bond.
Daniel Gross, 28, San Antonio, Texas, was charged with refusal to
sign agreement to appear and released on $1,000 bond.
Lenning Jav Huerta Martinez, 23, Philadelphia, was charged with
two counts of failure to appear-general sessions and held without
bond.
Joshua David Morgan, 32, Lenoir City, was charged with violation
of probation and held without bond.
Magan Nichole Sharpe, 26, Silver Creek, Ga., was charged with
theft of property and criminal impersonation and held without bond.

manufacture, sell, deliver and resale of a Schedule II substance,
criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple
possession/casual exchange and held on $46,000 bond.
Tommy Lee Bolden, 41, Sweetwater, was charged with two counts of
manufacture, sell, deliver and resale of a Schedule II substance,
one count of manufacture, sell, deliver and resale of a Schedule VI
substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $92,000
bond.
Patrick Michael Brewer, 35, Lenoir City, was charged with simple
possession and a child support warrant and held on $4,300 bond.
Michael Willis Crabtree, 39, Lenoir City, was charged with theft
of property and released without bond.
Dandy Mejia, 20, Loudon, was charged with driving on a
revoked/suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and
simple possession/casual exchange and released on $3,000 bond.
Coy Harmon Potter, 35, Knoxville, was charged with violation of
