Visit Loudon County’s Polar Plunge event that took place on January 1^st. 

The East Tennessee Polar Plunge is an annual event hosted in partnership with Visit Loudon County and Visit Monroe County Tourism.  This year’s plunge took place in Loudon County at the Poplar Springs Boat Ramp on Hwy 444.  We had 53 individuals plunge into Tellico Lake raising $1,500 for this year’s non-profit recipient, T-BART (Tellico Boaters Assistance Response Team).
