Looks like the four horsemen/woman of the apocalypse have all qualified to run for re-election in Lenoir City. Don't imagine anyone is surprised. It's just too good of a deal to give up.
There is one candidate who has picked up to run for mayor and one to run for council. Lenoir City resident, Wayne Collins has picked up to run for mayor and Robert Withers picked up for a city council seat. But, it's a long time until the end of petition time. I suspect there will be more.
Incumbent Loudon City councilman, Eric Newman, has picked up to seek re-election. Out going Loudon County school board member, Kenny Ridings, has also picked up a petition to run for one of the two council seats.
No one has picked any petitions for Greenback nor Philadelphia as of yet.
Candidates for any of the seats listed below have until August 15 to qualify to run for office.
