Former Lenoir City councilman, David Cole has picked up qualifying petitions for both the mayor's seat and a council seat. Of course he will ultimately have to choose which seat he will run for.

Mr. Cole, you may remember, had qualified to run for council two years ago but was later deemed ineligible when it was determined by the Loudon County Election Commission that he did not meet the twelve month residency requirement to be on the ballot. He won't have that issue this time.
