| Only one new candidate picked up a petition last
week. David Gray picked up to run for commission, 4th district.
Incumbent 4th district commissioner, Leo Bradshaw, is not running for
re-election so the 4th is assured a new commissioner in 2018. Gray is
the second candidate for the 4th. Gary Whitfield has already returned
his petition and qualified to run. Both Gray and Whitfield ran for the
office four years ago.
