Pair charged after marijuana found
Two people face drug charges after law enforcement
responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle and person.
Dispatched to a grocery store off U.S. Highway 321,
Lenoir City Police Officer Keith Sennett located the silver Ford
Focus in question.
While speaking to two people inside the vehicle,
Sennett found out driver Shawn Desmond Williams, 29, had two
outstanding warrants.
K9 Dagger was deployed on the vehicle for a open
air sniff, Sennett wrote in his report. K9 Dagger alerted on
the driver side of the vehicle. Located under the driver seat
was a gray wooden box. Located inside the box was approximately
24.7 grams of marijuana in two clear bags, a marijuana grinder,
a digital scale and a glass pipe.
Officers found a large quantity of clear
plastic bags in the glove box, according to Sennetts report.
Sennett also found a loaded needle in passenger
Erica Nicole Dunlaps purse, which tested positive for
methamphetamine.
Williams, 29, Loudon, was charged with possession
of drug paraphernalia, manufacture, sell, delivery and resale of
a Schedule VI substance, failure to appear-municipal court and
violation of probation and held on $14,000 bond. Dunlap, 32,
homeless, was charged with simple possession/casual exchange and
held on $1,000 bond.
July 10
Charles Lee Akins, 36, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released on
$1,000 bond.
Robert Blake Dotson, 34, Philadelphia, was
charged with resisting arrest and held on $1,000 bond.
Diana Gail Monroe, 44, Knoxville, was charged
with two counts of assisting other agency and released on $1,000
bond.
Jeremy Harrell Morgan, 36, Philadelphia, was
charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released
on $2,000 bond.
Tosha Lynn Partin, 29, Philadelphia, was
charged with a juvenile attachment and released without bond.
Michael Anthony Stratton, 40, Loudon, was
charged with contempt of court and released on $150 bond.
Abigail Joann Turkett, 32, Lenoir City, was
charged with violation of probation and held on $2,000 bond.
Kemonte Rashawn Waters, 24, Lebanon, was
charged with failure to appear-general sessions and held on
$2,000 bond.
Sara Christine Wells, 28, Sweetwater, was
charged with violation of probation and released without bond.
July 11
David Allen Green, 40, Andersonville, was
charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released
on $1,000 bond.
Terry Dewayne Griffin, 37, Sweetwater, was
charged with failure to appear and held on $7,000 bond.
Dustin Anthony Harris, 32, Greenback, was
charged with failure to appear-general sessions and released
without bond.
William James Shubert, 26, Lenoir City, was
charged with assisting other agency and released without bond.
July 12
William Leonce Distefano, 32, Maryville, was
charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple
possession/casual exchange and released on $2,000 bond.
Derrick Scott Hembree, 37, Clinton, was charged
with theft under $1,000 and held without bond.
Terry Lee Jaynes, 33, Philadelphia, was charged
with violation of probation and held on $20,000 bond.
Jacob Tyler Miller, 21, Loudon, was charged
with failure to appear and released without bond.
Jerry Richard Nolen, 33, homeless, was charged
with criminal impersonation, vandalism and assisting other
agency and held on $4,000 bond.
Craig Allen Smallwood, 42, Sweetwater, was
charged with failure to appear-general sessions and released on
$150 bond.
Gordan Leroy Trynor, 28, Oliver Springs, was
charged with violation of probation and held without bond.
July 13
Ashley Danielle Buckner, 31, Lenoir City, was
charged with failure to appear-general sessions and held without
bond.
Marla Jane Gibson, 29, Maryville, was charged
with violation of probation and released on $2,000 bond.
Angela Dawn Skidmore, 42, Powell, was charged
with domestic assault-felony, simple possession/casual exchange,
possession of legend drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia
and held on $11,000 bond. Responding to a call of a possible
domestic violence situation and suicidal person on McCrary Road
in Philadelphia, LCSO Deputy Craig Brewer talked with Skidmore
and found a black folding knife in her left pocket. On
(talking) with her she stated she had not threatened to hurt
herself but had been in a argument at the (nearby store) in
Philadelphia, Brewer wrote in his report. A man told Brewer
that while he was arguing with Skidmore, she made statements
that caused him to believe she might hurt herself. He was trying
to help her when she took the knife out and tried to cut him.
After arriving at the jail, deputies found a cut straw with
residue in it, which Skidmore admitted to using, along with four
round white pills with markings of 10 on them and three white
capsules with PGN 50 markings on them. Skidmore did not have a
prescription.
William Dylan Patterson, 29, Kingston, was
charged with possession of a Schedule II substance and released
without bond.
Michael Edward Sands, 39, Greenback, was
charged with domestic assault and released on $1,500 bond.
July 14
Jason Thomas Barley, 39, Dayton, was charged
with assisting other agency and held without bond.
Royce Holland Foreman, 46, Blairsville, Ga.,
was charged with driving under the influence and released on
$5,000 bond.
Megan Kaye Keaton, 33, Knoxville, was charged
with assisting other agency and released without bond.
Tracey Lee Langley, 43, Harriman, was charged
with failure to appear-municipal court and released without
bond.
July 15
Christian Peyton Bennett, 21, Lenoir City, was
charged with especially aggravated robbery, aggravated assault
and theft of property and held without bond. While at a Lenoir
City park, Bennett and two others attacked a man "numerous
times" by hitting him with a baseball bat and a black pistol,
according to a report from Lenoir City Inv. Brad Brown. "(The
man) sustained injuries to his forehead and left eye as well as
bat strikes to his rib cage directly over his liver, and on his
lower back directly over his left kidney," Brown wrote in his
report. During the incident, the three individuals told the man
they were going to kill him, and took without his consent his
camouflage wallet. The man was sent to Fort Loudoun Medical
Center and required imaging due to "potentially life threatening
injuries to his liver," Brown wrote in his report. The other two
people involved in the incident have not been arrested. In a
follow-up interview, Brown said the case is an ongoing
investigation.
Jameson Thomas Cull, 29, Athens, was charged
with driving under the influence, driving on a revoked/suspended
license and violation of implied consent and released on $5,000
bond.
Tony E. Dupes, 35, Madisonville, was charged
with driving under the influence and released on $3,000 bond.
Michael Todd Myers, 51, Maryville, was charged
with driving under the influence and held on $3,000 bond.
Robert Eric Reagon, 27, Lenoir City, was
charged with domestic assault-misdemeanor and held without bond.
July 16
Robert Victor Boykin, 37, Lenoir City, was
charged with public intoxication and released on $1,000 bond.
Robert Edward Clarke, 50, Greenback, was
charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released
on $1,000 bond.
Leticia Cortes, 31, Lenoir City, was charged
with domestic assault-misdemeanor and held on $2,000 bond.
Samantha Carol Ann Curtis, 41, Lenoir City, was
charged with driving under the influence, driving on a
revoked/suspended license and held on $2,500 bond.
Jay Ronald Oliver, 29, Loudon, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and held without bond.
Tobias Tuck, 40, Loudon, was charged with
contempt of court and held on $150 bond.
Amber White, 26, Loudon, was charged with theft
and two counts of violation of probation and held without bond.
July 17
Lydia Ann Russell, 51, Loudon, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and released on $1,000
bond.
