Suspects in fatal Lenoir City shooting arrested by US Marshals
 

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (WATE) — Two people wanted in connection to a fatal Lenoir City shooting were taken into custody by US Marshals in West Knox County on Sunday.

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Officer responded to a home on Taylor Lane on the evening of Jan. 18 for a reported shooting. The victim was identified as 38-year-old Eric Matthew Leach.

Investigators identified two persons of interest and asked to the public to report any sightings of a dark blue 2004 GMC Yukon that was believed to have fled the scene shortly after the incident.
 
Warrants were later issued for Ashley Sharp and Vincent Ellis. Sharp was charged with first-degree murder. Ellis was charged with a charge of being an accessory after the fact. Investigators said the two may have been headed towards Knox County.
 
On Sunday, Sharp and Ellis were taken into custody in West Knox County by the US Marshals Service.

LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office said deputies are searching for two suspects after a deadly shooting on Saturday.

According to Cpl. Cody Bengel, the shooting happened on Taylor Drive in Lenoir City.

The victim, a man who has not been identified, succumbed to injuries sustained in the shooting, Bengel said.

Preliminary findings indicate that a dark blue 2004 GMC Yukon with Tennessee license plate 511-BNKS fled from the scene shortly after the shooting. Bengel said deputies identified Ashley Sharp and Vincent Ellis as suspects in connection with the investigation.
 

Bengel said it is believed that Sharp and Ellis left the area and may have gone toward Knox County.

On Sunday, Bengel said warrants had been issued for Sharp and Ellis. Sharp is wanted on a first-degree murder charge and Ellis is wanted for his involvement as an accessory after the fact.

Law enforcement is asking that the public remains vigilant as both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (WATE) — A man is dead and law enforcement is searching for two suspects after a shooting on Taylor Drive in Lenoir City.

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office shared that a dark blue 2004 GMC Yukon, with Tennessee registration 511-BNKS, fled the scene shortly after the shooting. LCSO told 6 News that the male victim died following the shooting. Deputies identified two individuals of interest: Ashley Sharp and Vincent Ellis.
 
LCSO believes the two left in the Yukon and may be heading toward Knox County. They are considered armed and dangerous.
 
Warrants were issued for both individuals. Sharp is wanted on charges of first-degree murder while Ellis is “sought for his involvement as an Accessory After the Fact.”

Anyone with information about Sharp or Ellis’s whereabouts is asked to contact 911 or the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office at 865-458-9081.
