On To August

With the republican primary behind us, some of us are headed into the county general election in August. While I was fortunate enough to win my primary race, I will now faceoff with the democrat candidate in the August county general election.

My opponent will be Mr. Jan Theodore Hahn. Mr. Hahn was the only democrat on the ballot in the 5th district race. I received 1,092 in the primary and he received 63.

I will be beginning my August campaign around the first of June.

I will again be asking for your vote and support.

Also running in the August general election will be 2nd district democrat, incumbent commissioner Earlena Maples. She will be challenged by republican Julia Hurley. The rest of the county races were decided in the primary with no other democrats running.

I'll have lots more information on all the August races in the coming weeks.
