Officers arrest woman in drug bust

A Lenoir City woman is facing multiple drug charges after Loudon
County Sheriffs Office, along with help from six other agencies,
executed a search warrant Feb. 28 on East Lee Highway.
LCSO Inv. Marty Stanley notes in an arrest report that the
homeowner, Ashley Dawn Morris, 31, was arrested. Law enforcement
found 32 3/4 2mg Alprazolam pills while searching Morris.
Inside and around the home, officials found four 8mg Buprenorphine
pills, four baggies with 48 500/5mg Hydrocodone pills, one baggie
with 10 325/10mg Hydrocodone pills, a pill bottle with 47 additional
2mg Aprazolam pills, one baggie with .8 grams of heroin, four
baggies with 3.2 grams of a brown crystalline substance that tested
positive as methamphetamine, four baggies of 5.8 grams of a white
crystalline substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, a
glass vial with .5 grams of cocaine and a green plastic box with
five glass pipes commonly used to smoke narcotics. Three baggies of
unknown brown substances were also found but could not be field
tested due to safety concerns.
All of the narcotics were packaged in a manner to facilitate
resale, Stanley wrote in his report.
LCSO had assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation,
Internal Revenue Service, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Blount
County Sheriffs Office, Ninth Judicial Drug Task Force and Fifth
Judicial Drug Task Force.
Morris was charged with manufacture, sell, delivery and resale of a
Schedule I substance, four counts of manufacture, sell, delivery and
resale of a Schedule II substance, manufacture, sell, delivery and
resale of a Schedule III substance, manufacture, sell, delivery and
resale of a Schedule IV substance and possession of drug
paraphernalia and held on $352,000 bond.
Feb. 27
Lillian Elizabeth Durmer, 34, Maryville, was charged with
possession of drug paraphernalia and released on $2,000 bond.
Karen Anne Hood, 63, Kingston, was charged with theft of property
and released on $2,000 bond.
Earl Kirk Newman, 26, Maryville, was charged with a juvenile
attachment and released on $760 bond.
Matthew Neal Russell, 35, Maryville, was charged with failure to
appear-general sessions and released on $6,000 bond.
Aslam Christopher Wilson, 34, Lucedale, Miss., was charged with
five counts of possession of a Schedule IV substance and possession
of drug paraphernalia and held on $24,000 bond. Observing a red GMC
Yukon turn onto Highway 11 from Christian Street with a driver not
wearing a seat belt, LCSO Deputy Chris Jenkins conducted a traffic
stop at a nearby motel. Jenkins said Wilson exited the vehicle
before it came to a complete stop. Jenkins had Wilson walk to the
rear of the vehicle and Jenkins was given consent for a pat down and
discovered a glass pipe commonly used for smoking narcotics in
Wilson's front left pocket. Jenkins K9, Deja, confirmed the vehicle
had an odor of illegal narcotics.
Feb. 28
Alfred Paul Brogdon, 43, Madisonville, was charged with driving
under the influence and violation of implied consent and released on
$3,000 bond.
Aleisha Noel Holmes, 26, Lenoir City, was charged with driving
under the influence and released on $1,500 bond.
Kayla Ann Murrell, 26, Knoxville, was charged with public
intoxication, criminal impersonation and failure to appear-general
sessions and held on $4,000 bond. Responding to a call at
Philadelphia Elementary School of a suspicious person, LCSO Deputy
Mark Tinnel met school resource officer Deputy Ron Deland, who said
he encountered a person on school property walking along the creek
behind the school. When approached, the female, who gave her name
as Brandy Leighann Morgan, seemed unsteady and appeared under the
influence, Tinnel wrote in his report. Ms. Morgan was belligerent
to Deputy Deland. She stated that she had been on Spring Road, and
had smoked marijuana and also took a Hydrocodone. She then stated
that she had possibly ingested methamphetamine. She could not stop
talking, and was very fidgety. Deputies later learned her name was
Kayla Ann Murrell after being taken to Loudon County Jail.
John Alexander Thomas, 40, Madisonville, was charged with failure
to appear and released on $2,000 bond.
William Robert Weaver, 35, Knoxville, was charged with public
intoxication and simple possession/casual exchange and held without
bond.
Robert Andrew Yelverton, 27, Loudon, was charged with two counts
of failure to appear-general sessions and violation of probation and
held on $28,000 bond.
March 1
Ashley Nicole Jenkins, 31, Lenoir City, was charged with driving
on a revoked/suspended license and held without bond.
Stephanie Jesse Rutledge, 26, Lenoir City, was charged with theft
under $1,000 and held without bond.
Danny Lynn Williams, 31, Rogersville, was charged with three
counts of fraudulent use of credit/debit card and held without bond.
March 2
Madison Lee Howard, 23, Lenoir City, was charged with violation of
probation and held on $5,000 bond.
Timothy Ryan Jones, 36, Loudon, was charged with driving on a
revoked/suspended license, manufacture, sell and resale of a
Schedule II substance, manufacture, sell and resale of a Schedule
III substance and manufacture, sell and resale of a Schedule IV
substance and held without bond.
Matthew Nathaniel Nowlin, 31, Madisonville, was charged with
failure to appear-municipal court and held without bond.
James Joseph Robbins, 40, Walland, was charged with failure to
appear and held without bond.
Jesse Logan Tackett, 28, Lenoir City, was charged with driving
under the influence and driving on a revoked/suspended license and
released on $5,000 bond.
March 3
Dana Carol Weiand, 47, Lakeland, Fla., was charged with possession
of drug paraphernalia and simple possession/casual exchange and held
without bond.
Kyle David Wyatt, 36, Charlotte, N.C., was charged with identity
theft and two counts of theft of property and held without bond.
Jimmy Lynn Arden, 28, Lenoir City, was charged with driving on a
revoked/suspended license and released on $1,000 bond.
April Lynn Bivens, 39, Greenback, was charged with possession of
drug paraphernalia and simple possession/casual exchange and
released on $2,000 bond.
Michael Shane Boyd, 41, Lenoir City, was charged with driving on a
revoked/suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia and
held on $4,000 bond.
Jerry Allen Covington, 36, Loudon, was charged with driving on a
revoked/suspended license, driving under the influence, refusal to
sign citation and implied consent and held on $3,000 bond.
Frederick David Hall, 44, Lenoir City, was charged with failure to
appear-general sessions, possession of drug paraphernalia,
tampering/fabricating with evidence, possession of marijuana and
possession of methamphetamine and held on $36,000 bond.
Chasity Joan Beth Lynn, 28, Loudon, was charged with a Blount
County warrant and released without bond.
Bryan Allen Mullins, 22, Lenoir City, was charged with
possession of drug paraphernalia and released on $1,000 bond.
David Clarence Organek, 36, Kingston, was charged with driving
under the influence, driving on a revoked/suspended license and
simple possession/casual exchange and released on $6,500 bond.
March 4
Jacob Dylan Armes, 25, Wartburg, was charged with theft of
property and driving without a valid license and held without
bond.
Jordan Dalton Armes, 25, Wartburg, was charged with theft of
property and held without bond.
Krystal Alexandria Diggs, 24, Columbia, S.C., was charged with
criminal simulation and held without bond.
Joshua Ronald Dixon, 25, Niota, was charged with domestic
assault-misdemeanor and released on $1,500 bond.
Juan Medrano Navarette, 55, Loudon, was charged with leaving
the scene of accident with death/injury and released on $1,000
bond.
Jimmy Dale Presley Jr., 32, Lenoir City, was charged with
failure to appear and held without bond.
Nicholas McDonald Smith, 29, Englewood, was charged with
violation of community corrections and held without bond.
March 5
Stephan Dewayne Alsup, 35, Lenoir City, was charged with
domestic assault-misdemeanor and released on $1,500 bond.
Swongia Marie Anderson, 63, Loudon, was charged with public
intoxication and released on $1,000 bond.
Brian Hale Davis, 48, Vonore, was charged with failure to
appear-general sessions and held without bond.
Joseph Devillers, 33, Lenoir City, was charged with a Bradley
County warrant and held without bond.
Brian James Moser, 28, Maryville, was charged with failure to
appear-general sessions and held without bond.
March 6
Brooke Ann Kiser, 26, Philadelphia, was charged with simple
possession/casual exchange and held on $1,000 bond.
Stephen Anthony Scott, 26, Loudon, was charged with violation
of probation for arson and vandalism over $1,000 and held on
$30,0000 bond.
