Off The Grid
| I've decided I'm getting off the grid. I'm putting in
a garden, built a chicken pen and got two chickens. Those chickens lay
two eggs per day. We've even been picking Morel Mushrooms in the woods.
By the time the garden comes in this summer, I should have plenty of
tomatoes, okra, squash and cucumbers eggs and mushrooms.
On second thought, I'm not sure the wife and I can live off vegetables and eggs. Guess I'll still be on the grid a few more years. But we're having fun farming anyway.
