NSEFU

Coe Lewis, sister of Tellico Village resident, Pandora Vreeland, is co-founder of NSEFU Wildlife Conservation.  Her first Public Service Announcement is on the youtube link below.

This organization is doing amazing work in ZAMBIA, which is located in the southern part of Africa.

In the video, Ms. Lewis is presenting teachers a laptop donated by the Tellico Village Computer Club.  They donated five tablets for her rangers, one laptop for the school and one laptop for the ranger station.  What a generous donation and game changer!

NSEFU built the new school and pay most of the teachers salaries. They also built a ranger station and pay for the rangers salaries and food, NSEFU built a sewing building and outfitted it with sewing machines and an instructor to teach the villagers how to sew and sell goods instead of poach.  They also set-up donated beekeeping hives that are making money for their anti-poaching efforts.  [All the honey they produce is sold to a country in northern Europe]. The brave NSEFU rangers have already destroyed more than 3,000 animal snares in three years and enthusiastic school children are being taught how important it is to preserve their magnificent, but very endangered wild animals.

The people of Loudon County are a generous group.  Hopefully, this announcement inspires some of them to donate to NSEFU and help in this desperate fight to save these animals from extinction.  100% of money donated goes to the cause.
