Now that the May

Now that the May, county primary election is over, it's time to start looking toward August. The August ballot will be much larger with county and state candidates on the ballot.

The county portion of the ballot will contain all the candidates who appeared on the May 1st ballot. The only candidates who will have opposition are incumbent, 2nd district commissioner seat (A) Earlena Maples (D). Maples will be challenged by Julia Hurley (R), and myself, incumbent 5th district commissioner seat (B), Van Shaver. I will be challenged by Jan Theodore Hahn.

Also on the county ballot will be 2nd, 4th and 6th district school board races. Four of the BOE contests will be contested

The state races will also include governor and US senate and that committeeman and committeewoman stuff.
