November Petitions

Qualifying petitions for the November 5th elections will be available June 17th at the Loudon County Election Commission office in Loudon. The deadline to qualify is August 15th.

Lenoir City positions to be on the ballot in November are, mayor, three council seats currently held by, Mike Henline, Jennifer Wampler and Eddie Simpson. The Treasurer Recorder position, currently held by Jimmy Wilburn, will also be on the ballot.

Two Loudon City council seats held by Eric Newman and James Webb will also be on the Loudon ballot. Both Greenback and Philadelphia will be holding their elections in November.

The opportunity for Lenoir City voters to take back their city is here. Replacing the mayor and three council members with citizens who actually care about the city would go a long way to making that a reality.

Here's the chance to make a difference. Qualifications to run for office in Lenoir City are to be 18 years of age and a resident of the city for at least one year and get 25 signatures of qualified city voters on the petition.

Nothing will ever change in Lenoir City until something changes in Lenoir City.
