No Hurley Date

Last Friday was the docket sounding for the Loudon County Chancery Court December schedule.

District Attorney, Russ Johnson was asking that the case of Tennessee vs Julia Hurley be set for the December docket. Hurley's attorney's assistant claimed that T. Scott Jones could not be ready to go to trial by December.

Ultimately, the judge allowed the case to be passed till the April session or possibly earlier if the case were heard in Roane County. Looks like Ms. Hurley will continue to disenfranchise the good citizens of the second district a little longer.

As a side note, According to Hurley's attorney, she would be moved back into her elected district within a year of moving out. That was June 5th, that didn't happen. Then her attorney stated that she would be moved back in her elected district by the first of August, that didn't happen. Obviously, they can't get their stories straight.

On another note, Ms. Hurley has put her fifth district home on the market for sale. June, 2019, Ms. Hurley paid $330,000.00 for that home. She currently has it listed for $530,000.00.
