LOUDON, Tenn. (WATE) – No damage has been reported after a barge hit a bridge in the city of Loudon.

A spokesperson with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office said a barge hit a railroad bridge near the Tennessee River bridge Sunday morning.

Dispatch tells us the two made contact but neither the bridge nor barge were damaged.

They plan to do a more in-depth inspection at some point.
