Trio charged with drugs,
paraphernalia Two men and one woman from Lenoir City were taken to Loudon County Jail over the weekend on drug and paraphernalia charges after law enforcement initially stopped a vehicle for a seat belt violation. Spotting a driver and passenger not wearing their seat belts along Church Drive, Loudon County Sheriff's Office Deputy Cody Fritts also saw that the Dodge Ram had a tag that expired in March, according to the arrest report. Fritts identified the driver as Tony Curtis Johnson, 28, Lenoir City, and the passengers as Ted Dustin Hamilton, 38, Lenoir City, and Donita Rena Ward, 41, Lenoir City. Fritts saw an open bottle of Natural Ice in the floor board, according to the report. During a search of the vehicle, officers found five syringes and a cut straw, Fritts wrote, noting that he also located a marijuana cigarette and rolling papers inside Hamilton's cigarette pack. Fritts also found a Suboxone strip in the driver's seat, according to the report. Hamilton was charged with simple
possession/casual exchange and
possession of drug paraphernalia

• Christopher Paul Bingham, 45,
Harriman, was charged with theft
of property under $500 and
released on $1,000 bond.
• Jordan Michael Call, 27,
Philadelphia, was charged with
driving under the influence and
leaving the scene of an accident
with property damage and held on
$10,000 bond.
• Chanse Reed Lively Davis, 22,
Oliver Springs, was charged with
driving under the influence and
violation of implied consent and
released on $3,000 bond.
• Jose Manuel Gonzalez, 27,
Philadelphia, was charged with
burglary and theft of property
and held on $20,000 bond.
According to an arrest report,
Gonzalez, with the help of his
girlfriend, Kasey Miller, broke
into a garage in the 700 block
of Spring Street and took two
Craftsman tool sets valued at
$1,000 and a tiger statue valued
at $600. Video surveillance
showed Gonzalez enter the
property as Miller appeared to
provide security. Gonzalez then
loaded the items into their
vehicle, according to police.

burglary and theft of property
and held on $20,000 bond.
• Bradley Wade Harrill, 41,
Madisonville, was charged with
identity theft and held on
$10,000 bond.
• Amanda Nicole Joiner, 27,

During a narcotics search at a
residence in the 1300 block of
Grove Street, police found
multiple needles, pill crushers
and three kinds of pills with no
proof of prescription, according
to the arrest report.

possession of legend drugs and
possession of drug paraphernalia
and released on $3,000 bond.

bond. Responding to a call of a
possible intoxicated driver at a
gas station in Lenoir City,
LCSO Deputy Kenny Palmer arrived
to find a man sitting in the
passenger seat and two other
individuals walking out of the
store to the car, according to
the arrest report. During a
search of Montgomery's pockets,
Palmer found a clear baggy
containing a white crystal
substance that field tested
positive for methamphetamine,
according to the report.
• Yobani Ada Saucedo-Herrera,
31, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving under the influence
and released without bond.
• Jennifer Nichole Silvey, 29,
Lenoir City, was charged with
violation of probation and
failure to appear and held
without bond.
• Dalton Jay Smith, 18, Lenoir
City, was charged with simple
possession/casual exchange and
released on $1,000 bond.
Spotting a gold Mitsubishi
Montero with a defective
headlight on Highway 70 West,
LCSO Deputy Kenny Palmer stopped
the vehicle on Columbus Drive
after the driver, Smith,
seemingly attempted to divert
police, according to the arrest
report. After stopping the car,
Palmer spoke with Smith, who
said he tried to get away
because he did not want a
ticket, according to the report.
Palmer got consent to search the
vehicle and found a substance
believed to be marijuana under
the passenger seat and multiple
containers with "very little
marijuana inside them," Palmer
wrote.
• Adam Lee Walker, 18,
Philadelphia, was charged with
aggravated assault and burglary
of a motor vehicle and held on
$7,000 bond.
Aug. 6
• Keri Susette Acuff, 44,
Seymour, was charged with public
intoxication and released on
$1,000 bond.
• Ramon Aguilera Constantino,
22, Lenoir City, was charged
with domestic assault and held
without bond.
• Sandra Jo Dunn, 61, Lenoir
City, was charged with theft
under $500 and released on
$1,000 bond.
• Robert Leroy Kronz, 48,
Maryville, was charged with
burglary and theft of property
under $500 and held on $22,000
bond. According to an arrest
report, Kronz and Tina Sampson
broke into a pair of storage
buildings at a residence in the
500 block of Stephens Road in
Greenback and removed multiple
items. The items were recovered
from a trailer attached to a
Chevrolet Blazer occupied by
Kronz and Sampson, according to
police.
• Tina Cherie Sampson, 40,
Maryville, was charged with
burglary and theft of property
under $500 and released on
$22,000 bond.
• Salvador Rodriguez Quintana,
26, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving on a
revoked/suspended license and
held without bond.
• Cami Lynn Reed, 47, Lenoir
City, was charged with
aggravated burglary and
vandalism and released on
$25,000 bond. Responding to a
call of an unwanted person in
the 100 block of Donelson Road,
LCSO Deputy Lance Anderson
learned that the person, Reed,
left the residence in a black
four-door car, and she was later
stopped by police along Highway
11 West. Reed told deputies she
went to the residence to get a
flat screen TV that belonged to
her son, according to the
report. After entering the
residence, Reed got into an
argument with a woman, and Reed
told officers that she tried to
take the television, but it fell
and was damaged, Anderson wrote.
The woman told deputies that
during the argument, Reed pulled
her hair and hit her in the
chest, according to the report.
The bedroom was in "complete
disarray" and the TV was
"severely damaged," Anderson
wrote.
• Brian Stacey Rogers, 42,
Lenoir City, was charged with
domestic assault and released on
$1,000 bond. Dispatched to a
call of a domestic dispute in
the 100 block of Abbott Road,
LCSO Deputy Chris Jenkins
arrived to find "trash and food"
in the living room, kitchen and
den of the home, and the front
porch gate had "several broke
boards," according to the arrest
report. A woman told deputies
that Rogers became upset because
she did not buy the right type
of spray, Jenkins wrote in the
report. The woman said she then
went back to the store and tried
to get the right kind of spray,
but it was out of stock. "Mr.
Rogers became more upset and
(was) screaming at the victim,"
Jenkins wrote. "When the victim
and Mr. Rogers got back to the
residence Mr. Rogers began to
tear the gate to the front porch
up breaking several boards."
Rogers then began throwing food
and trash around the home, and
he also threw tomatoes at the
woman, resulting in broken
blinds, Jenkins wrote. "Due to
Mr. Rogers having extensive
medical history and not taking
his medication," he was taken to
Fort Loudoun Medical Center for
an evaluation.
Aug. 7
• Austin Caleb Bennett, 19,
Cartersville, Ga., was charged
with underage consumption and
held on $1,500 bond.
• Fred Lee Bridges, 29, Lenoir
City, was charged with failure
to appear and domestic
assault-misdemeanor and held
without bond. Walking up to
LCSO Deputy Billy Lewis in the
Justice Center parking lot, a
woman said she had been
assaulted by Bridges, according
to the arrest report. The woman
told deputies that Bridges had
been texting another woman while
sitting in the driveway of his
mother's house on Kalana Lane,
Lewis wrote. When the woman went
to grab the phone, Bridges began
hitting her in the back of the
head and face, according to the
arrest report. She said Bridges
began to drive away as she was
trying to get out of the car.
"Mr. Bridges then grabbed (the
woman) by the front of the shirt
pulling her back into the car,"
Lewis wrote. "(The woman) stated
that Mr. Bridges bit her on the
right upper shoulder causing
substantial bruising." Lewis
said he saw a bite mark on the
woman's shoulder. "(The woman)
also had a scratch to the left
forearm as a result of trying to
exit the vehicle." Lewis wrote.
"(The woman) provided text
messages showing where Mr.
Bridges had told her she
deserved it." The woman told
deputies that she had to go into
a forested area to get away from
Bridges.
• Scottie Lee Denton, 32,
Knoxville, was charged with
failure to appear and held
without bond.
• Isaac James Lands, 19,
Kingston, was charged with
underage consumption and simple
possession/casual exchange and
released on $2,000 bond.
• Jeffrey Daniel Marler, 51,
Lenoir City, was charged with
driving under the influence and
cite-in and released on $1,000
bond.
• Sheri Tunnel Marler, 50, was
charged with driving under the
influence and released on $1,000
bond.
• Gary Lee Orgeon, 36, Lenoir
City, was charged with
possession of drug paraphernalia
and held without bond.
• Frankie Leon Sanes, 46, Lenoir
City, was charged with
possession of a Schedule II
substance and contempt of court
and held on $1,500 bond.
• Melody Dawn Shaver, 29, Lenoir
City, was charged with public
intoxication and held without
bond.
• Cathleen Lucille Thomas, 53,
Huddleston, Va., was charged
with possession of drug
paraphernalia and possession of
a Schedule VI substance and held
without bond. Noticing a vehicle
traveling over the center line
and going 55 mph in a 35 zone
along Shaw Ferry Road, LCSO Deputy
Chris Jenkins stopped the car on
Highway 321 at Interstate 75 and
identified the driver as Thomas
and the passenger as James
Rhoades, according to the arrest
report. While speaking with the
driver and passenger, Jenkins
saw Thomas remove an item from
under the seat, according to the
report. After getting a positive
alert on the vehicle from a K-9
drug dog, officers conducted a
search and found a pipe commonly
used to smoke narcotics under
the driver's seat and a
substance believed to be
marijuana in the center console,
Jenkins wrote, noting that
deputies also found a plastic
wrapper containing about 1.7
grams of marijuana inside a
purse. The purse also contained
another pipe and a "black box
type electric pipe," which are
commonly used for smoking
narcotics, according to Jenkins.
• James Lee Rhoades, 37,
Maryville, was charged with
disorderly conduct and public
intoxication and held without
bond.
• Vicky Diane Underwood, 61,
Lenoir City, was charged with
domestic assault and held
without bond. Dispatched to a
call of a domestic dispute in
the 500 block of Allen Road,
LCSO Deputy Lance Anderson spoke
with Underwood, who said a woman
hit her in the head with a
cellphone, according to the
arrest report. Anderson wrote
that he did not see any injuries
on Underwood. The woman told
police that Underwood came into
her bedroom and began arguing
about her boyfriend, Anderson
wrote, noting that Underwood
threw some of her clothes in the
front yard. The woman told
police that Underwood struck her
"several times" during the
altercation, Anderson wrote.
Deputies saw scratches and red
marks on the woman's arm, neck
and face. Underwood was
determined to be the primary
aggressor.
• Tiras Dashawn Upton, 34,
Sweetwater, was charged with
failure to appear and held on
$4,000 bond.
Aug. 8
• Thomas Donald Burchfield, 46,
Loudon, was charged with
violation of probation and
contempt of court and held on
$2,150 bond.
• Brandon Thomas Deaton, 26,
Lenoir City, was charged with
failure to appear-general
sessions and released without
bond.
• Charles Sherman Thaxton, 52,
Loudon, was charged with driving
on a revoked/suspended license
and released on $1,500 bond.
