New Training Facility 3

The first part of the new fire/law enforcement training facility in Lenoir City is in place. The Bullhead System, is a three story training structure which allows fire departments to train in live fire situations.

Still to come is an indoor firing range within a 12,000 sq ft building which will also include a training room. An EVOC Simulator, (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course), an outdoor tactical training area, furniture, fixtures concrete and asphalt. The proposed budget for the entire facility was $2,128,210.00. Loudon County commission contributed $1,000,000.00 to the project. The city of Loudon contributed $250,000.00 and Lenoir City is to pay the balance.
