There are four different projects proposed in the current building plan, total cost estimates, $115,000,000.00+. Of course, the largest project, by far, is the new North End middle/high school coming in at just above $94,000,000.00. For some perspective, back in 2010, the new Greenback school cost 19 million and the new Fort Loudon Middle School was 17 million. Guess prices have gone up a little?

Funding the project will not be cheap. It would require, hopefully, no more than a 30 cent property tax increase to fund the debt on a twenty-five year loan.
