Last week, the city signed three year contracts with Waste Authority for residential trash pick up and Republic Services for commercial pick up.

A couple weeks ago, Brewster's Service Group, who had the garbage contract, mowing and tree trimming contracts for the city and LCUB, abruptly announced they were suspending services.

While the garbage contracts have been taken care of, LCUB is still working to replace Brewster's with another company for tree trimming.
