Erin Rice will be taking the roll of county finance director at Ms. Blair's retirement. Ms. Rice will begin immediately working with Tracy in the transition. Ms. Rice has been working in the finance department for more than 17 years and has worked in many capacities during in this time.

Many may not realize how vital the position of finance director is to the county. Aside from managing a nearly ninety million dollar annual budget, the finance director must interact with every elected official and department head within the county.

Speaking for myself and I say many others, I'm very sad to see the retirement of Ms. Blair. She has been an incredible director for the past eighteen years. I want wish her the very best in her retirement.

I also want to welcome Ms. Rice as the new finance director and look forward to working with her in the years to come.
