New District Maps
| Every ten years, after the census is completed, all
states and counties are required to perform redistricting of their
political lines. The idea is to keep political districts equally
populated. Back in December, Loudon County officials did redistricting for our county to equalize the populations in our seven districts. No major changes were needed but some lines were adjusted. The biggest change came in the 1st district, Loudon, and seventh district, Tellico Village. The Loudon County Election administrator, Susan Harrison, has posted the new district maps on her website.
