New Cupola
| The new cupola is almost ready to go atop the
courthouse. As we all remember, in 2019, the courthouse burned and has
been is a state of repair ever since. The new cupola will actually be functional. When completed, it will allow access to the roof of the courthouse. It will be installed in two sections. Combined, it weighs about 7,800 lbs. While not an integral part of the rebuild, it will be very symbolic to see it back in place. The contractor hopes to have it mounted in the next three weeks. |
