I set out early Friday morning to take down all my campaign signs. Inevitably, you always lose some of the small yard signs. That's to be expected. But in a first, I lost one of my big signs.

When I got to Dixie Lee Junction, my big, 4x8 sign was already gone. My first thought was that one of the other candidates may have picked it up. We do that a lot for each other after elections. But after checking with those who might have, no one had picked up the sign.

It was taken either election day or the night before. Maybe someone saw something and might have a clue.

So apparently my big sign was stolen, posts, flags and all. Who would want it? It's a real mystery.

I'm offering a $20 reward for the safe return of the sign or for information leading me to the sign. It's been with me a long time and I miss it.
