POSSIBLE DROWNING VICTIM LENOIR CITY, TENNESSEE - LCSO Deputies are on scene near the Canal Boat Ramp (Tellico Lake Boat Ramp) after being called to a report of a possible drowning victim who was seen entering the water and has not been seen since. Loudon County’s Rescue Dive Team, EMA, Priority EMS, and TWRA are on scene as well. This is an active scene and more information will be released as it becomes available.

missing and thought to have drown last night, has been found and is
OK. He was taken to an area emergency room for treatment. Missing Loudon County man believed drowned found alive and well LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Loudon County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a possible drowning on September 5 at around 10:15 p.m. Friday morning, rescue crews announced the man they believed to have drowned was found and is alive and safe. The sheriff's office said crews searched near the Canal Boat Ramp after they were called about a person entering the water who was missing for several hours. Crews with the sheriff's office, EMA, Priority EMS and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency assisted with the search. |
