| Misdial ends in domestic
assault arrest
A
Loudon man was charged with domestic assault Saturday after
officers responded to a misdial at his neighbors home and
overhead a violent dispute.
Loudon County Sheriffs Office deputy Trey Clemmer was send to a Loudon residence early Saturday morning for a 911 misdial. As he arrived in the neighborhood, he heard a woman screaming and crying as well as a loud noise of something hitting the ground coming from the house adjacent to his intended destination. Clemmer went to the house where the noise was coming from and a woman opened the door. She was breathing heavily, appeared very upset and could not speak at first. When she was able to make a statement, she explained that Servando Jesus Hernandez-Diaz, 26, had become violent toward her after she told him to either stop using drugs or leave her home.
The woman said
Hernandez-Diaz grabbed her, threw her around, held her
on the couch and tried to put a blanket over her head so
she couldnt breath. He then retrieved a gun from his
vehicle and pointed it at his head.
Clemmer observed physical marks on the victims neck and chest consistent with her story, as well as furniture moved around in the house. Hernandez-Diaz was charged with domestic assault and held without bond. Aug. 6
