Loudon
County Court Clerk, Carrie McKelvey, has announced that she will not be
seeking re-election in the 2022 election.Ms. Mckelvey stated that she wanted to make her family her priority.
McKelvey was elected in 2018 after the retirement of then court clerk, Darlene Russell.
No one has announced their intent to run for this office as of yet.
The County Court Clerk office is responsible for a number of functions for county citizens including vehicle registrations.
